A Christmas staple at Fielders- beautifully traditional, religious Advent calendars. Quite the rarity these days but a lovely reminder of what Christmas is all about.

These are medals from the First World War awarded to William Charles Findlay- Brother of Agnes Fielder (who ran the shop from 1928 into the 50s), and great uncle to the current owner Mr Ian Fielder.
These amazing pieces of history are to undergo our bespoke framing service.
Keep an eye out for the results.

Ceramic Poppy project

An amazing project for Fielders! This is a sub-standard reject from the collection of ceramic poppies displayed at the Tower of London for the centenary of World War I. It was brought to us by Marine Cadet Calum Wilde- Grandson of our very own Mr Fielder- who volunteered in helping to plant the poppies. Some of the reject poppies were given to the volunteers by the organisers. Now Fielders are embracing the important task of preserving this beautiful piece of history in a bespoke frame. We are sure then, that it will most definately not be forgotten. Look out for the results in the coming weeks.
